Boyanika being the Implementing Agency organized the State award Ceremony for the weavers of the state on 15/12/2019 on the inaugural day of the Toshali National Crafts Mela, at Janata Maidan, BBSR. The weavers having lifelong outstanding contribution in the field of weaving, Tie & Dye making, and designing were awarded by the Hon’ble Minister, Handloom, Textiles & Handicrafts, Odisha. Nine Nos. of weavers for the year 2017-18 and nine nos. of weavers for the year 2018-19 were awarded on the occasion as below. The weavers were awarded with cash Rs.25,000.00 for 1st prize, Rs.15,000.00 for 2nd prize, and Rs.10,000.00 for 3rd prize with memento.
